The ILO’s work is aimed at making people’s lives better through different institutional and structural mechanisms.
The problem of Child Labour is rampant in India. ILO’s   efforts in this regard through the Convergence project and the impact of the work done under the project to show the change in the lives of beneficiaries and project hope. Educational services being provided to identified beneficiaries (children), in the age group of 5-14 years, in       National Child Labour Project (special schools) /SSA (formal/govt. schools). Education Resource Centres (ERCs) have been established in the districts for after school activities and tuition support to the children in the age group of 5-14 years.
